ABOUT ROCKDOOT CONSTRUCTION
My name is Matt and I am the Owner of RockDoot Construction located in Kenmore, WA. I have worked on and off in the Construction industry since I was a teenager helping my Uncle remodel houses. For the last almost twenty years I worked in Corporate America and decided I wanted a change of pace from working for the Zuckerberg type so I opened a business doing something I enjoy here locally in the Seattle area.
You might be asking how did you get into this industry and where does your experience stem from. Throughout my time working in more of a Corporate setting I have owned and operated real estate throughout the area. Since my first home I always enjoyed doing the work myself and have completed countless DIY projects from decking, fencing, flooring, tile to larger kitchen and bathroom remodels. I still own Rentals in the area and have always been fond of investing in property and injecting some sweat equity into it and see where it takes you. This led me to get more serious about learning the ins and outs of the construction industry. I have since attended various construction programs, shadowed and worked projects for local General Contractors to begin learning the ropes of professional carpentry along with local permitting processes.
If you are still reading this you might be asking yourself why I would choose to have RockDoot Construction out to bid your project. Well I have been on both sides of the fence as a consumer and a builder. Some of the qualities I always valued as a consumer when looking for someone to assist with one of my project needs was not only their carpentry skills but also who they were as a person. I have been burnt before when getting remodel work done and I understand how frustrating that can be. My goal is to always create as realistic a timeline as possible and do my best to keep a consistent line of communication open with the client even when unforeseen circumstances arise. If I end up not being the right guy for your job I am happy to still lend an eye to your project and give you some direction on where to take it.
